Favorite plot twist movie

Just had a thought stemming from another thread.......name your favorite plot twist in a movie. Such as finding out that Anakin Skywalker was really Darth Vader at the end of Ep 3.

Alright horrid example, but you get my point.
Now if you had said at the end of "Empire", you would have been right on the money. My brother ruined that one for me. :grumble:

My favorite is a classic film, Witness for the Prosecution. If you've never seen that one, look for it in the TCM listings and check it out. It's a great film.

</TD></TR><TR><TD>Jailed for life for a murder he didn't commit, Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) becomes firm friends with prison fixer Red (Morgan Freeman). But when Andy loses his last chance to secure his freedom, Red fears he will commit suicide during the night. SPOILER ALERT! In the morning Andy has disappeared from his cell, having spent ten years carving a hole in the wall and hiding the evidence behind a Rita Hayworth poster.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Although i don't think it's a plot twist Virgin thought it was, and it is probably my most favorite movie. Although I am biased toward Stephen King.(I love Stand by Me as well)

"I got 2 guns...........one for each of ya"

Fantastic movie. Just watched it last week for the umpteenth time.[/quote]

Tombstone does have a slew of good lines though the one above works better with the preceding line -

BILLY -- Hell, he can't hit nothin'. He's So drunk he's probably seein' Double.

DOC -- I have two guns. One for each of you.

Another good DOC quote is after his first severe bout of illness - being comforted by his lady

DOC -- Yes, I know. You are a good woman.

... Then again you may be the anti-Christ

And Wyatt has one or two - this after he is done bitch slapping Tyler ...

WYATT -- You gonna do something or just stand there and bleed?

And Tyler was played by good ol' Billy Bob Thornton.

Back to plot-twisted movies ...
Also whoever mentioned Fallen as good twist ending - right, that's a good choice.

Another one in the line of the devil and his due with a twist would be "Angel Heart"

Clue - Communism was just a red herring.

Another excellent twist: "Memento"

Great movie, even if it makes my head spin. The first time I watched it, I paused it so I could make supper, and started trying to figure out if I had already made supper or was doing it for the first time.

The twist at the end of The Dark Tower series was one of my favorites.

Saw I and II
Signs

I wish I was old enough to have experienced the "Luke...I am your father" twist. It just isn't the same when you don't have a memory of when people didn't know that.

What was the plot twist in Eternal Sunshine? Seemed like a pretty straight (though weird) story to me.
