Favorite Place to get a Burger?

Yeah man. I don't get it. Since she was old enough to pick her own food. I don't know where she heard it but she told me "animals are my friends and not for eating". She likes bacon but she says pigs are too cute to eat. She still eats chicken nuggets but is conflicted about enjoying them.

Finally broke down and went there on a whim at 8:00 pm. No line outside the door anymore but still had about a dozen people in the order line and the place was about 80% full. Anyway, I hope the prices back on the mainland are better than this:

Prices in the DFW area appear to be about 25% lower.

Yeah, the Littles start at like $4.95 and the bacon cheeseburger is like $8 or 9 here.

Cheeseburgers here are ~$7.49 or something. Little fries are like $3.19. Not sure the exact prices, but I know a carry out burger & fries costs me around $10.60.

I think your 25% mark up on the island is reasonable. Honestly, I expected your prices would be higher.

Didn't do the fries...next time. Side note, they were selling as many milk shakes as they were burgers, and saw several orders of multiple shakes with no burgers...

Other mainland joints are usually around 20-25% higher here than on the mainland, but almost $23 (with tax) for a cheeseburger, regular fries, and a milkshake is just ridiculous. I have a feeling that once the initial novelty of the place wears off, they may be hurting for business...
