I chose Led Zeppelin IV because there are so many awesome memories (childhood and high school) attached to it. Well, that and it kicks as much ass as any album ever. Didn't really get into Sabbath until my early 20's so I couldn't give them the nod. I do like them better today than I do Zeppelin.

I made a poll and listed Dark Side of the Moon but Animals is a great album though if I had to pick one Pink Floyd Album it would be Wish You Were Here

Agree on that one Dub. Saw in an interview that our thinking also agrees with David Gilmore's, as he thinks WYWH was by far their best work.

It is. The other albums mentioned like DSotM and Animals are classic stuff but WYWH is just so perfect, it sounds great and it's something that you can just listen to and get lost in thought. One of my favorite 30 seconds of music is the sax towards the end of Shine on you crazy diamond, the way it suddenly jumps in there is awesome.

That's a grerat album too but I like Paranoid and even their first album better. As far as their later albums go Sabotage is my favorite. But this is probably my favorite song

I know I threw TP's original album out earlier, but there is a lot to be said for AC/DC Back in Black. Personally I am more of a Bon Scott fan than Brian JJohnson, but Back in Black was a kick ass album.
My favorite ac/dc song
