Fall Camp and Other Tidbits

What's everyone's guess on who the third RB is after Dobbins and Webber?

I'm guessing Teague would be listed ahead of Snead with getting here early, but I think Snead brings more of a power dynamic and would play in more situations. I see Teage as very similar to Dobbins and Webber...which is a great thing long-term, but I just think Snead brings a different dynamic to the table.

Teague providing the Brandon Saine to Snead’s Boom Herron?

I have no idea and haven’t really watched either’s film, but that’s what your description reminded me of.

Funny thing is, both of their films reminded me of a combination of Dobbins and Weber. I didn’t see a power game from either. But I’m sure both look different in college

That is exactly what I was thinking actually, just didn't think I articulated it well. Maybe the best player gets the nod and what I am saying means nothing. I think Teague looked fantastic in the spring game and I loved his game in HS. My only criterion in saying maybe Snead gets more PT this year is that he brings a different skill set. Teague is an incredibly talented player that I think will light it up in Columbus this year.

BEST TEAM OF ALL TIME? Eddie George took to TMZ on Monday to discuss the domestic violence allegations, Urban Meyer's status, and what he believes should happen going forward.

George's response was undeniably newsworthy. He's one of the biggest names in Buckeye football giving his #take on the biggest story in Buckeye football, and we wrote about it. But what he said about the situation – he condemns domestic violence and trusts the investigators will arrive at the right decision – wasn't all that shocking.

However, a comment he made towards the end of the video did raise my eyebrows a bit, when the Buckeye legend said the 2018 Buckeyes could be the best Ohio State team of all-time.

Transcribed from his video interview with TMZ:

"I believe this could be potentially the best team that we've seen at Ohio State, given the depth, the talent. We have tremendous tight ends, we have tremendous receivers, we’ve got a great backfield. Potentially speaking, I believe they have a great chance to be one of the best teams in Ohio State history."

George, of course, was a member of the 1995 squad widely considered the most talented Buckeye team of all-time, top to bottom – at least until 2015. Needless to say, I trust Eddie's evaluation of talent and am intrigued to see how it plays out.

For what it's worth, he wouldn't go as far as to predict a national championship, saying that anything can happen in the four-team playoff, but he did make one prediction:

“I definitely believe a big ten championship is in the making.”

Borland as a freaking Sophomore... bout time fellas we have ourselves another AJ Hawk in the making.

Day seems to really have this going well though. He seems in control, seems excited and the players respond. We will be more than fine the first 3 weeks.

3 receivers as captains now also...This is the best talent I think we have ever had at skill. 2015 had Zeke/Thomas/Braxton but this team goes 2 deep at RB with 1k backs, no joke 8 deep at WR, with a big arm QB and a TE group that has the potential to be dynamic provided Ruckert is what we think he is.

So much intrigue about this team due to not getting any updates since the spring. I cannot wait to see what we have.

Everyone is siding against these kids... Huge mistake. Not only are we going to win the big ten but we can win it all. I have that much confidence in this group and these coaches.

Make a damn statement boys!

Borland has a long ways to go before putting him in the same sentence as A.J. Hawk.
Just a hunch but I don’t think so. Thought the same thing early on but then the injury so who really knows right now. He does remind me of aj at the same point in his career. Will have to wait and see if he develops the same as aj.
