First, what does me being Christian have to do with anything?

Second, if you didn't care what I thought, you wouldn't respond to me.

Third, "once scUM, always scUM"... nice open mind you have there. I am sure that reaps major rewards for you in life.

Fourth, I never said KentStateBuck rants. As a matter of fact, I said this twice but since you can't seem to wrap your head around it, I will say it a third time. I said that **IF HE RANTED** about Kent State, I would understand it since he has Kent State in his nick and avatar. I didn't say he ranted, I said I would understand if he did. This isn't a difficult concept.

Fifth, what do I think about you? You are clearly wound too tightly, and you have ridiculous notions of what makes someone a fan. Thankfully, you appear to be in the minority here. I can't imagine how miserable it would be to be around people like you for five years.
Wait, yes I can... it would be like being at UM again.

Sixth, yes, you can figure out why someone would get upset at your rant. You have been taking shots at me all day long. That's fine, but if you punch a dog in the mouth enough times, you are going to be bitten. Don't whine now, you could have laid off me at any time.

Seventh, someone staying at UM for three years (again, you can't read...I transferred in) somehow makes them "stupid" and "lacking backbone"? For one thing, say what you will about UM people and athletics, but UM is, academically, one of the premier institutions in the world. It's not a lack of backbone, it's desire for a quality education.
For another, to spend three years at UM and give them hell the entire time, and not let those worthless, soulless sons of bitches run me off their shithole of a campus is not exactly lacking of backbone. It's finishing what you started, no matter how miserable the place is.

Eighth, switch to decaf. You are quite possibly the tighest wound person I have ever met.

First, if you don't know, then you use the term Christian" as loosely as you do "Wolverine fan".

Second, I respond to you to get you into the angry, immature frame of mind that you are now in ( as evidence; Your replies to me ).

Third, "once scUM, always scUM" has had it's rewards. Something like your "Univ. of scUM is a whore". Or was that the entire city of Ann Arbor? That's even better.

Call yourself whatever you want. A Christian isn't one of them. If you read your last two posts, even you are smart enough to see that. I thought that I would have a harder time getting you angry enough for you to reveal your real self. I gave you far too much credit.

Go ahead and take some more shots at me, Christian. As you do, just remember, you're the one who got angry. :scum4:

And for you to imply that I am not a Christian, well, read Matthew 7:1.
As far as the whole you hate "scUM" thing, read Matthew 5:44.

You have no right to tell me whether I am a Christian or not. You do not choose what is and isn't a Christian. You are judging me by what you THINK a Christian should be. Being a Christian is a relationship with Christ. There are people who would never utter a cuss word in their entire life, spend all of their free time in church, yet never truly have the faith. Are they Christian?

You are extremely close minded and pig headed. As I said before, I am glad the majority of Buckeye fans I have come across are not like you.

I have only met a handful of really attractive Michigan Coeds. They were in some sorority at Michigan and seemed to be able to party and do well at Michigan. Rick's bar on campus seemed to have the best looking girls when I would visit my buddy!

You cannot call yourself a Buckeye, yet ever root for SCum over tOSU. Some avid Buckeye fans say they will root for the Big 10 no matter what, even if it means pulling for miSHITgan in a bowl game, but what you are saying is that you would root for those smelly bastards in certain situations when THEY WERE PLAYING OHIO STATE. You are a two-faced hypocrite if you call yourself a Buckeye, while at the same time acknowledging there are situations in which you will root for miSHITgan against your own Buckeyes. It sounds like maybe you should start following intramural chess matches, as that would be more suited to your level of support for my beloved institution. If you cannot root for the Buckeyes 100% of the time, against anyone and everyone, no matter what the circumstances, then go back to that shithole whore of a city up north.

Rick's does get the sluts. Scorekeepers too. They preen before they go out.

If you want to see some ugliness, head to the library on a Saturday night. Or go to a college democrats meeting. Or hell, just walk around campus.

All that said, I have to say that while UM is LOADED with ugly girls, if you have yellow fever (a thing for Asian women), there isn't anywhere east of California that has a better and more attractive selection of Asians than UM. If you want white women though, keep looking...

That seems hypocritical to me.

Again, let's say that Kent State is your 2nd favorite team and they are undefeated. And the only way they can win the National Championship away from 1-loss UM team is to beat a 2-loss OSU team in a BCS bowl game.

By your argument, since you have to 100% root for OSU to win every game, you want them to beat your second favorite team and give UM the National Championship.

You call me every name in the book, while you would rather give UM a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP than to lose a(nother) game.

Fandom is one thing, and I fully understand it. But at a certain point, rationality has to enter the equation.

Fyi...

Just received shipment on my first OSU hoody.

I am supposed to drive up to Ann Arbor and pick up my girlfriend at 4:30, and I will be wearing it on campus when I go to get her. This should be interesting.

And FYI, it's red. Yes, it's red. They didn't have the black one on eBay, and I wasn't going to pass up a $10 hoody just because it was red and not black.

ex - Sorry, but you really do not get what it means to be a fan, let alone a Buckeye. A true fan of any team would not cheer against their team regardless of any situation. You may try all you want to come up with a twisted, unrealistic hypothetical situation, but a true fan does not cheer against his/her team. And that is talking about just being a fan. Being a Buckeye transcends being simply a fan. Buckeyes are part of something called the Buckeye Nation. Once you experience Columbus on a football Saturday you might understand, then again you might not (since IMO the jury is still out on you and your motives). There is no better place to be than Columbus, Ohio on a football Saturday. The electricity in the air, the passion for the team, are all very evident. It is the closest I have come to a religious experience.

Bottom line is once bowl season hits, I do want the Big 10 to do well, since it does help in the national opinion. If scUM is NC, so be it. But I would never, never, never cheer for an OSU loss! The fact that you proposed a scenario where you think it might be possible indicates that you have a very long ways to go on your scUM recovery program or you are not what you appear to be.

There is nothing hypocritical whatsoever about what I wrote. First, I don't have a "second favorite team". I have a favorite team. I am fanatical about that team, and live and die every Saturday by their on-field performance. Secondly, no matter what happens, I will never, NEVER, EVER, root against tOSU. Frankly, it is impossible. If miSHITgan wins the NC, good for them. I hate them, but there is absolutely no situation, now, or ever, in which I would want my beloved Buckeyes to lose. The fact that you can't understand this tells me and every other true Buckeye fan that you are not, and probably can never be, a true Buckeye. Most likely, every single person that reads this thread agrees with me that there is NEVER a situation in which any of us would root against the Buckeyes. That is because they are true members of the Buckeye Nation, while you are nothing but bitter towards that smelly shithole of an excuse for a school up north. No offense to you, but you simply are not a Buckeye, so you can't, or at least won't, understand.

And that IS the reality of the situation. It isn't "fandom" or anything else, it is simply undying devotion to the best damn football team and University in the world.
