1-0 Italy. Pirlo on a PK. Legit call in the box, Abidal for France was red-carded after taking Toni down from behind (Toni had controlled a long ball brialliantly with an extended leg).

I just hope Romania win their game and send both Italy and France home early. Neither of them have played well enough to move on. It should be interesting though as the Dutch have fielded a team that is less that 1st choice across the board, but wow it still looks mighty good on paper.

I didn't see any of the games, but wow a second string Holland team seemed to have played as well as the first string! 2-0 against Romania is as impressive a result as their 2 previous games in the competition.

As for Italy....I am not surprised one bit. They are back in the competition and I wouldn't be surprised if they go far from here.

There is a vBet in this forum with odds that are similar, but slightly better in most cases.

Russia vs. Sweden. The winner of this match goes on to the knockout rounds. Look for this match to be pretty intense the whole way through. Although I do think Sweden does have an advantage with Ibrahimovic up front. I think this match will be pretty close but Sweden wins in the end.

Sweden 1 - Russia 0


Spain vs. Greece. The Sweden/Russia is definitely the game to watch today as this match doesn't mean a whole lot. Defending champs Greece is already knocked out and I look for Spain to bench the stars. Greece will play with a lot of pride but will not score a Goal in this Euro.

Nevermind - the ugliness I was referring to was just what they were wearing to warm up. Some pseudo-Under Armor crap. Their actual kits aren't that bad, even if they are leftovers from they days of the USSR.

As for the actual match, I'm with Sweden today as well. I've always had respect for them, and judging by the link a few posts back, their female supporters are better looking. :biggrin:
