Given the amount of errors like this the past few months, I'd say "not really". Lack of competition breeds laziness and apathy...the "world wide leader" has plenty of both.

My feelings as well. That's why I'm hoping NBC comes with it. ESPN at least needs some competition to check them.

I think it would be FOX more so than NBC.

Because with FOX, you already have the tie-in with the Big Ten Championship game and FOX already owns part of BTN.

Regardless, I can only imagine ESPN's response if/when the Big Ten signs its next deal elsewhere.
