Effective immediately we are suspending the publication of Grantland. After careful consideration, we have decided to direct our time and energy going forward to projects that we believe will have a broader and more significant impact across our enterprise.

Grantland distinguished itself with quality writing, smart ideas, original thinking and fun. We are grateful to those who made it so. Bill Simmons was passionately committed to the site and proved to be an outstanding editor with a real eye for talent. Thanks to all the other writers, editors and staff who worked very hard to create content with an identifiable sensibility and consistent intelligence and quality. We also extend our thanks to Chris Connelly who stepped in to help us maintain the site these past five months as he returns to his prior role.

Despite this change, the legacy of smart long-form sports story-telling and innovative short form video content will continue, finding a home on many of our other ESPN platforms.

Did I just hear assclown Desmond Howard say that he would take OSU out of the playoffs because what happened last night in Columbus? Funny I didn't hear anybosy move FSU out because of the crap Jameis did last year....

Yes, you heard that right. I don't think he was talking about dropping tOSU out because of ethical reasons. My guess is that he would drop the Buckeyes out because he doesn't think they can win big games with Cardale at QB. :bonk:

I've heard adds for the lebetard show where they play snip-its of this 'looks like game'. My personal opinion is he's a shithead that can't think of anything real to talk about so he makes up stupid pointless shit like this. It pisses me off every time I hear the add because I can't believe they put idiots like this on the air.

Trying to find the Baylor-K. State game and instinctively turned to ESecPN. Woman reporter (Shelley Smith?) was giving her expert (:slappy:) opinion on all things college football and how Baylor fits in the CFP picture. She said something about their "so-called" weak schedule. :no:
