ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

I honestly don't understand Fowler's claim to begin with.
ESPN has fingers in SECN and LHN.
Their competitors have fingers in PAC and BTN.

Given that propping up any conference inherently comes at the expense of the others, it's obvious that ESPN benefits from propping up SEC at the expense of their competitors. Texas is too much of a turd to even bother with.
Throw in renewing tv deal for B1G coming up, and the prospect of low balling and/or losing that deal provides further incentives for their behavior.
Unfortunately the conference has given them plenty of ammo to work with.
The PAC and B12 probably have the best grounds for complaint.

Third straight week huh? Really looked good in a 14-13 win against a 4-4 Arkansas team, which started that great three game stretch.

Of course we drop three spots in our OT win against 4-3 Penn State.

Gotta love how they erase the fact that a botched extra point was all that kept Arkansas from possibly beating Alabama.
I think they also fumbled the ball inside the 5 yard line as well at some point.

So what about their claim that they televise B1G games via ABC (and ESPN and ESPN2) so they want the B1G to be good? I fully believe that their objective is to maximize Disney's profits- what is their strategy to accomplish this?

Obviously, most shareholders would hope so. But does ESPN's allegedly non-objective promoting of the SEC maximize Disney's profits given their overall broadcast portfolio?

Believe me, considering all of the Frozen shit I and other parents buy our daughters, Disney's profits are doing just fine.

They televise a large amount of conference games from everybody except the PAC.
