ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Actually that's what UMD looks like now

No, they are just sloppy. The maryland logo includes yellow and the insides of the legs are straight not flared.

I am unfortunately forced to watch gameday this morning with my father in law. They literally have not talked about a single non SEC game thus far. It is unwatchable.

Tuned in late to the game between Sparty and 'braska last Sat. night. The esecpn announcers must have spent at least five minutes straight talking about the day's sec game results, while the game between the two BIG teams continued.

As $Ec$PiN did their usual take on the who's in teams of the week on Mike and Mike this morning. Greeny was staunchly arguing that 2 SEC teams would get in over a 1 loss BIG team because of how balanced their league is. Of course if your whole league is rated at the start of the season, well then of course it appears balanced. Just look at Kentucky beating that highly rated, er once highly rated SC team...FACTS EVIDENTS that SEC teams beating each other > 'insert conference here' teams beating up on each other.

I borderline can't watch any games. Stanford ND was the same thing. They spent 10 minutes at the end of a very heated finale talking about the sec. Watched part of the Oklahoma tcu game (on fox I think) and it was the same freaking thing. They have saturated the media with their bias that it is now accepted as fact. No rankings until week 7!

It won't matter if you wait until Week 7 - they're still going to have overrate them ad have six in the top 10. A 1loss SEC team who loses to another SEC team is still going to be ranked higher than most non-sec undefeated teams.

No, that happens in a lot of leagues. What does not happen elsewhere is the insane inflation after every loss.

Every time a powerhouse falls to a low or unranked SEC foe without many losses, they skyrocket in the polls, resulting in a stronger league after the best team failed.

I meant to post this earlier but I heard a new ESPiN catchphrase during Thursday's Oregon-Arizona game. Palmer kept using the term "playoff caliber" during the broadcast such as "Oregon's O-Line is not playoff caliber." and "This defense in not playoff caliber." Anybody else catch that?

Oh, and I also heard the good old standby "eyeball test" several times during one of the CFB shows on the ocho. I know, I know - I shouldn't watch that crap but I was working from home and it was drowning out the neighbor's barking dog!

I didn't know where to put this. My comment is about ESPN, but it's actually to give them some credit: I'm digging this Goal Line show. I've only been watching about 10 minutes, though, so they still have time to screw it up. Is this something new?
