Emory Jones (QB Florida, transfer to Arizona St., transfer to Cincinnati)

Pretty sure you're right but that still sounds egregiously low. I haven't seen the other ones but it's hard to fathom there are 9 better
Looking at the Scout list, I'd have to fully agree with you. Lumping all the QBs together, I'd have Jones easily in the top 5. Its very surprising that the kid who backed up Martell at BG is rated higher than Jones, and he's barely even played QB for an entire game and has never started until his senior season, he's been a WR

“I always love coming back up here,” Jones told Land of 10 Sunday of his 3-day trip. “I love coming back, and I see why I committed so early. I love the new coaches, (quarterbacks coach) Ryan Day and (offensive coordinator) Kevin Wilson. They have a lot of experience and I know they can develop me.”

With recent visits to Alabama and Georgia and planned trips to Florida and Florida State, Jones’ commitment has come under a bit of fire lately (he committed to Ohio State in July). He had a talk with the Buckeyes coaching staff about his plans; most importantly, the Buckeyes wanted to know why he continues to make visits.

“We had a conversation about me taking visits and stuff this weekend,” Jones said. “They just wanted to know why I’m taking them. I told them, ‘At the end of the day, I want to be able to say I know this is the place.’ When I am on other visits, I’ll know. I just need to make sure.”

“If there was one (at No. 2), it would probably be Florida right now,” Jones told Rivals.

If Florida fans want to get excited about their chances based on that quote, feel free.

Jones has also said that it would take something like a coaching change for him to rethink his decision. He's already been through one coaching change, his position coach, so I assume he means it would take Coach Meyer leaving OSU. Anyone really see that happening between now and Jones signing?

Color me not concerned.

Exactly what i was thinking. The more accurate description of Florida's chances here is "plan B" as opposed to a real threat to flip the kid. But good job by the author tryna drum up drama and false hope for the gator fanbase.

Yeah, and given the train wreck Florida's offense has been this decade, I can't imagine why any QB with decent options would want to go there.
