Duke Blue Devils (that rat faced scumbag)

Looking at the Buckeyes game tonight, I was disappointed in how we looked against a mediocre Michigan team.

Then I turned on the Duke game, and saw a terrific Blue Devils team getting handled by the Noles in Tallahassee. Conference play is just another thing entirely, and I need to keep that in mind when the Buckeyes lose a game or two. It's just the way things are when you play league games on the road.

Hey at least that mediocre Michigan team gave everything Kansas could handle. Quality win tonight IMO.

no other team is permitted to hand-check like duke is. if i were an opposing coach, i would be in the officials' ears before and throughout the game. the hand-check is the key to their tenacious defense that extends well beyond the arc.

I dunno. Everyone the Buckeyes has played in the conference so far has pretty much been given carte blanche to hand-check. Not to mention free rein to beat on, punch, grab, kick and generally mug Jared Sullinger.

Remember, this is the same FSU team we beat in Tallahassee. Even if Duke wins, but only by 2 or 3, those voters that are unanimously voting Duke #1, might just have to sway some of their votes the way of the Buckeyes. But the great thing about College basketball, it doesn't matter what your ranked...

If the voters weren't going to split votes between Duke and Ohio State before, if Duke wins they won't split them now.

It's bullshit, but it's true.

Your second paragraph was going to be my response to your first. The folks expecting the Bucks to roll to several 20+ point wins in the conference schedule - especially on the road - are setting their expectations unreasonably high. With our ranking everyone will be "up" for us, just as it is for Dooooooook in the ACC.

We won, Dook lost.
