Duke Blue Devils (that rat faced scumbag)

I do not know why rat face could not be as (put in your own word) as Roy Williams and announce his retirement after the season. He probably wants the big farewell tour and all the presents that usually go with such a tour. I wonder if he will take Dickie V with him for companionship purposes. Boy, I do not think that I could watch the last game that he coaches. There will be orgasms all over the place. The only benefit about him retiring is that with Roy and him gone the ACC is going to take a little slide.

Who would have guessed when this photo was taken that these 2 would eventually have (combined) 2072 college wins and 8 NCAA Championships?

Duke players arrested for OVI-related offenses. Surely Coach K, bastion of integrity and leadership, will suspend his grandson and star player until the legal system plays out.

Mike Krzyzewski’s grandson, Michael Savarino, Duke teammate Paolo Banchero reportedly arrested on DWI charges

Michael Savarino, Krzyzewski's grandson, was reportedly arrested for DWI. Savarino, who is 20, was with 19-year-old freshman player Paolo Banchero, who was reportedly charged with aiding and abetting DWI.

Krzyzewski confirmed the university was dealing with "a legal matter involving two members of the men's basketball team," but declined to go into more detail.

“We are reviewing a legal matter involving two members of the men’s basketball team,” Krzyzewski said in a statement released by Duke athletics to the N&O. “Any further actions as a result of this situation will ultimately be determined by the Vice President/Director of Athletics and University officials.”

Savarino's mother, Debbie, is the assistant athletics director at Duke. Debbie Savarino is the oldest daughter of Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Michael Savarino joined Duke as a walk-on in 2019. He became a scholarship player in the offseason and played three minutes in the team's win over Army on Friday.

Savarino will appear in court Dec. 9 regarding his DWI charge.

Banchero is considered one of the best players in college basketball. He was named the ACC’s preseason player of the year and is expected to leave Duke after one season to join the NBA.

Through three games, Banchero leads the team with 19.3 points per game and 26 rebounds.

Banchero will appear in court Dec. 8.

Duke star Paolo Banchero starts vs. Gardner-Webb after DWI-related charge, punishment handled 'internally'

"We had a violation of our standards, and we'll handle that internally. We've already handled it," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said after Tuesday's game. "Violations of our standards. And that's it."

It is unclear what, if any, punishment that Banchero or Savarino may face from the school. However, Savarino was not with the team for its game vs. the Bulldogs on Tuesday while Banchero got the start, and Krzyzewski acknowledged after the game there are "two different situations" between the two teammates. The 20-year-old Savarino registered a .08 on a Breathalyzer test during his traffic stop, the legal limit in North Carolina.

"Two entirely different situations," Krzyzewski said. "Headlines might make it look it's the same -- it's not. The decisions we made are in conjunction with our authorities -- my superiors. We're taking action and will continue to take action."
