The author is reading between the lines in his assumption that it's dead even between OSU and the Noles, but the kid isn't quoted anywhere in the article explicitly saying it himself. He only hints at it being close. I think if the staff can blow the family away next visit he commits to the good guys.

Seems a lot of recruits rave about it when visiting Florida St. Have a co-worker who's son just attended junior day, and that's all he talked about. His son is a local product at Greenwood High here in South Carolina. Same school that produced Ben Coates, DJ Swearinger, Josh Norman, and others including our favorite Michigan killer who played QB for Appalachian State, Armanti Edwards.
