DT Johnathan "Big Hank" Hankins (Seattle Seahawks)

Scout article looks promising. I thought we would lose out to michigan in the end due to all the recent reports of "family michigan talk". Looks as if they want him to attend michigan a lot more than he does now. He seemed really high on OSU from the start, OSU came in with the early offer, UM came in really late and coaching musical chairs @ UF. Starting to feel more confident about this situation. I'll be honest, I wrote him off a week ago to michigan. Go Bucks!!!!

I remain skeptical. Hard to believe a kid from Michigan with a family pushing him to the in-state school would choose that school's archrival. Not saying it couldn't happen, but I have my doubts.
Not saying your wrong or that he won't do just that, but I'd be more concerned if theis was Lloyd Carr's m*ch*g*n. RR's m*ch*g*n...not so much.

Still not sure about this one. I think Florida's done, but I think Michigan is right there. Hard to believe he isn't considering them harder.

Why is that hard to believe?? I don't think Michigan is right there at all.

A lot of people have liked/like our chances here.

Buckeyes close to landing Hankins

Defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins (Detroit, Mich./Southeastern), who made official visits to Ohio State, Florida, Michigan and Virginia, had been saying Ohio State was at the top of his list with Florida No. 2.

Urban Meyer's weekend announcements may have wrapped things up for Hankins and the Buckeyes.

"Right now I'm not sure about Florida," Hankins said. "The way it is looking it seems like I'll be heading to Ohio State. I'll let you know in about a week when I make my final decision."

Hankins said the Gators remain No. 2 on his list.

After Hankins visited Ohio State the weekend of Dec. 12, Alabama offered him a scholarship and Hankins said he might make a January visit to Bama.

However, things have changed in the past week.

"I don't think I'll visit [Alabama]," Hankins said on Saturday night.

Mom and Dad, Mr. Boren is on the phone.
Eh, not quite the same. The Borens are from Ohio and Mom and Dad didn't push their kids one way or another per reports. I'm sure there was some pressure but Mike did tear out his scUM basement and replace it with Scarlet and Gray.

im from pickerington and that is false. justin wanted to go to osu more to stay close to his friends while his dad wanted him to go to um hard. his mom wanted him to stay close too. His dad would have disowned him had he chose osu as a recruit. but once dickrod took zacks scholarship away and kept calling justin a fat ******* (gay slur) mike wanted to stick it to dick hard
