DT Johnathan "Big Hank" Hankins (Seattle Seahawks)

So what do you guys think of Hankins? Is he more like a Doug Worthington type player? Or a Cameron Heyward?

Neither....

This guy is like something we don't have on the team. He's a true NT, a space eater. The kinda DT teams have trouble running up the middle because he's so big he needs a double team. He will free up other DL to make plays. We have alot more of the athletic type DT's on the team...

Neither....Cam is a tweener with explosive burst allowing him to play DE or DT at 290lbs. Worthington is 6-8 which is atypical for a DT.

Hankins is a more traditional DT with his size at 6'2 - 6'3 and 315 lbs. Depending on how Heacock wants him to play he could put some additional weight and be a plug at DT, or maybe they slim him down and try and make him a bit more explosive. I look at him as a plugger moreso than a rush D-lineman, IMO.

Dexter Larimore ish?

Closer in style to Dexter. But Dexter came to OSU at 270. Hankins can come in to tOSU anywhere from 310-340 depending on what he does before he comes to Columbus.

If they maximize his potential and weight, kid probably has a lot more upside then Dex...
