Player of the year D III for both football/basketball as a junior equals = Best Player in Ohio by far, for the junior class, like I've been saying months ago

Sam Webb: What about Ohio's top prospect, Cincinnati Taft defensive end Adolphus Washington. He has long mentioned his desire to visit East Lansing. What do the Spartans' chances look like there?

Dave Berk: The big thing with Adolphus is that they need to get him on campus. I know him and Se'Von Pittman have talked a lot and formed a friendship. Adolphus knows that he could probably come in and play early at Michigan State. I know that is intriguing to him. The key will be will Adolphus Washington actually take an official visit to Michigan State? If he does, they have a chance. If he does not, they are out of the running.

Allen Trieu: I think they still have a shot with him. He has set up some visits elsewhere. Thing is, he has had such a great senior year. His recruitment was already national going into the year and now I think schools have really turned the heat up on him. At this point, it wouldn't surprise me to see him leave the Midwest. If he stays in the Midwest, I think Ohio State is his top Big Ten team right now. That said, Michigan State is still in the conversation.
