beer contains so little vitamin B6 that youwould have to consume large amounts to obtain any value which ultimately leads it to a catch 22. the only argument you could make is is red wine which carries antioxidants and the minute amount of alcohol(half a glass) can help dissolve plaque in the linings of arteries to prevent athersclerosis.

So you know now better than medical researchers what kind of effect beer has?

Thank you doctorb, but according to the article (which you clearly did not read) : "Beer drinkers had a 30% increase of vitamin B6 in blood plasma."

frankly i don't disagree with it. she is trying to become a teacher and i don't want a potentially drunken assclown teaching my kids.

Hmmm.... I'm coming to the conclusion that you're probably right.

Btw... Abstinence is the best way to acheive this.

ME? no. personally, i don't want to slip away peacefully into the night at a ripe old age. i want to slam into the coffin sideways, with a beer in one hand and a shotgun in the other, yelling "WHOOOOO! what a RIDE!!!!"
Since your wake will apparently be an upbeat kegger, please notify your next of kin to invite BP.

Has it been proven that the woman in question was actually drinking alcohol, let alone drunk?

Even if that has been established, if she sucessfully completed the requirements for her teaching degree/certificate, is justice served by denying her the degree? And how does the University justify awarding her a degree in English instead?

upbeat is an understatement. 'raging' would be more appropriate.
everyone is invited! :drunks:

(except jeffcat... who obviously won't be offended by this exclusion, since he views us with such disdain.)

Except, of course, if they went to school to become a teacher, right?

Well.... of course.... Why would they want to be teachers, anyway when they are now drunken assclowns trained in the use of battlefield ordnance.:wink2:

She loses her ability to get a teaching job and sues for $75,000.

A judge has a dry cleaners lose his pair of nice pants and sues for $67 million.
