marijuana is perceived to be fun, cocaine is perceived to be fun, what the BTK killer was perceived to be fun..........do you consider it fun when she shows up hungover to your child's class and loses supervision of that child and/or is at an inadequate state to teach?

are you serious?

You have to just be fucking with people at this point. There's no way you even buy the bullshit you're selling.

Sadly, he's probably not. He has the telltale stench of the "reformed" drinker--i.e. he personally couldn't handle alcohol responsibly and in moderation so therefore nobody else should be allowed to have a martini after work or a glass of wine with dinner.

frankly i don't disagree with it. she is trying to become a teacher and i don't want a potentially drunken assclown teaching my kids.

So teachers don't have the civil liberty to enjoy a drink?

Maybe we need to drop you off in Iran for a week so you can learn something about this wonderful country and the civil liberties we enjoy :shake:

the same civil liberty that causes deaths by drunk drivers or cirrhosis? it is pretty understandable to look at alcohol as a frequently abused "liberty". i am pretty sure the troops in iraq are not fighting so you can sip a couple brews.

So you're equating responsible, adult social drinking with the actions of the BTK killer.:smash:

Thanks for, in one sentence, proving the irrationality and extremism of your views better than I could have in a thousand words.

extreme measures must be met to fit criteria of the argument of what is "fun". my views are in no way irrational. if you think so feel free to prove otherwise.

you see that statement as irrelevant? so if cho seung hui buys guns from me and tells me he is going to kill some students then you would just view that as an irrelevant argument that he might actually do it? anybody can create false irrational statements for a future premise to fit a conclusion of their desire but the idea that one is hungover after a night of drinking is hardly irrational.

No... he doesn't see that statement as irrelevant...

His point is that YOU are the one using the slippery slope argument. (Over and Over and Over and Over and Over and Over and Over)

And getting drunk here or there doesn't mean you do it all of the time. Most are responsible enough to not get drunk if they work early the next moring.

And having a beer or two does not even mean you are drunk.

Hell we don't even know for sure what she was drinking in the picture. It couls have been fruit punch forall we know.
