Drew Zwick--SuperStar Stalker Who Hates Us

Jeez, that's a bad idea on so very many levels. Have we all of a sudden turned into frickin' Alabama? Leave Ted Ginn alone to sit down with his father, Tressel and the NFL people and determine what's best for HIS future.

Pasted from Buckeye50YardLine Message Board:

I'm always amazed that buckeye fans rail on each other so much. I'm not talking about this board -- but other boards. I rarely visit , but when I do its shocking to me. If you love the buckeyes then what the hell is there to argue so much about.

I've been doing a one man campaign for Ginn to stay. I know its a small chance (about as small a chance as a player actually having a career ending injury his senior year), but I had some time , which hasnt happened for me much in the past year and I started yelling for Ginn to stay. With one board in particular you'd think I was spitting on Jesus or something - wow.

Since the NC I hardly complained about the players or the coaches -- I've written it off as a fluke and I'll let the coaches figure out how to handle their business. All I did was yell that I want Ginn to come back.

If fans of the same football team can't get along then what have we here. I do feel , though, that this is still the minority of crazies out there and not the general OSU fan.

I think its great that OSU fans are football nuts- - but lets stick together - and stick with our team.

Again , I feel like I'm preaching to the choir here -- need to copy and paste this on some other boards.

I wrote on a buckeye website for over a year -- I didn't have the time anymore and rarely have the time to go on my regular msg board anymore. Had some time and strong feelings about Ginn staying and decided to have some fun. Maybe most of you are on this board day in , day out, but you really need to lighten up. Im not hunting down Ginn , I'm not applying for a coaching job. I may be writing for another web site in the near future , but that's it.

I've never went around and made a big statement on the different msg boards before and I never will again. Guys from B50 warned me about the idiots out there - guess I should have known. I thought my enthusiasm for Ginn would shake everyone out of there misery, but I guess it just gave people an excuse to act like fucktards.(Such an eloquent use of the english language)

Oh yeah -- MONEY MONEY MONEY --- believe me , when you grow up you might actually try to comprehend the concept that there are other things out there besides money.

ps. Know that I dont have any more time to waste here so write whatever - I won't see it. And, btw, I did make use of the email - if Ginn ever reads it then he'll at least know how much one fan appreciates his talent. If not - no harm done except a little crazy bucknut fun. :) Carry on with your worthless diatribes - day in , day out , every day .......

I have a feeling this guy might pass Mr.Buckeye07 in the race to the negative buckeye?????

I said I'd never come back here - well I just popped back on to report that Ginn is leaving -- of course because there are those who actuall LIVE on this msg board that has already been reported. (Have any of you ever played college football or are you all dweebs like nfl buck?? :tongue2: - nice pic)

Anyway - I know what I'm up against here -- all these "experts" and "insiders" , Tressel's good friends , etc. Of course none of you are over 5'9"

Anyway, here it is -- I actually emailed and got a response --I know that won't be believed by all of you experts, but for some insane reason I'm sharing it with you supposed buckeye fans anyway. Whoever got back to me in the email (wasn't Ted -- maybe his dad? - who knows) was very cordial and appreciated my support and imput. They got a kick out of my statement that I tried to rally buckeye fans on the net to get a petition for Ginn to stay , but most of them would rather bitch about buckeye football than do something positive. He reminded me that the real buckeye fans aren't always to be found on msg boards -- good point.

Bottom line - this was a very tough decision for Ginn -- not something decided until this weekend - regardless of what all you "experts" were reporting. I actually replied to the email with more of my reasoning for Ginn to stay -- the reply I got was that it wasn't about the money (ok - go off on that "experts") or injury , but whether Ginn's business was finished at OSU. Basically I don't think Coach Tressel was going to use Ginn in all the ways he should if Ginn came back -- that's just MY guess from the email I got. So , in other words, the Ginn contingent decided that their business was done at OSU. That email came yesterday -- I had said in my email to talk to coach -- if your not THE MAN next year then leave. Who knows what exactly happened , but in the last email I was told that it was a very difficult decision and its something that you'll never know. Who knows if Ginn comes back its a fantastic year for him next year - who knows if he'll be a great pro -- none of us know but they made the best decision they could. That's basically what the email said.

I am not an "insider" or "expert" -- I've played college football (division IAA) and I'm a huge Buckeye fan who has written for one website in the past and is looking to hook on with another soon. I've never emailed a player in my life nor do I intend to ever again. I just had a different slant on Ginn coming back than everything else I was reading and decided to pursue it. I of course didn't get any backing on the net - - what I thought would be a fun diversion from the NC mire just gave the "experts" a chance to spew their frustration at me - and for what -- because I love Ginn, the Buckeyes and I realized that it MIGHT be a special year for him and the buckeyes if he were to return. I'm just glad my email was much better received by the people that really matter -- it turned out to be an interesting experience anyway -- and I'm glad I learned the truth and didnt just listen to all the "experts" on the msg boards.

Oh yeah, I never did see any of the replies to my post last week and I won't be reading any for this post so you might not want to waste your time -- though what else is there for you to do.:yow2:

I'm only usually on one msg board (by far the best one out there) and rarely at that anymore. Had time this past week for the first time in over a year to really be posting again -- for the first time tried different msg boards -- definitely a waste. But at least on this one someone did give me the idea (probably unwittingly) to do the email . I guess that was one positive out of this MSG BD mania. :)
