Drew Richmond (OL Tennessee Volunteers, transfer to ???)

Having kids doesn't exactly allow such freedom, regardless of the wife
Eventually you'll (hopefully) have an empty nest. Although I do have some great memories of taking my daughter to games when it was just the 2 of us going. Now I'm waiting for my grandson to get a little older to take him. For some reason his mom and dad think 7 months is too young. Of course, they also objected when I wanted to take him fishing in Canada at 3 months. I told them I'd duct tape the rod to his hands, and him to the seat in the boat. They don't have much of a sense of humor.

Very true. I'm trying to take my daughter to her first game, unfortunately it couldn't be this year, but we're definitely shooting for next year(she's 13 and finally starting to understand the game instead of getting bored within a quarter). And 7mos sounds like the perfect age to get him to his first game, he may not remember it but he'll certainly have a great story when he's older

Jessica was 10 for her first game. We went to Bloomington (we live closer to there than Columbus). Orlando Pace walked past her and I will never forget the look on her face. He was the biggest human being she had ever seen.

, well he is a giant
I was thinking of taking her to Illinois or IU next year. Or hopefully an OOC early game
Sorry for high jacking the thread fellas

I appreciate the staff making an effort to not spread themselves too thin during such a high-profile game. It makes much more sense to identify the guys they really want and devote more time to try to lock them up.

It sounds like the last OL spot is down to Jurkovic or James, with Howell being the unlikely wildcard. The other realistic scenario would be that the staff likes their chances with Gallimore or Hamilton, which could end up pushing Alabi to OG. I'm sure the picture will be much clearer after this weekend.

I was younger for my first game (but does in utero count?)

Doesn't surprise me at all. I posted the exact same think I think both in Bowen's thread and general recruiting thread. With 5 guys last year and 4 this year already, AND being super tight on spots, just hard to do. Even to a talent like Richmond.

Looks like the Vols might ultimately end up with this one. He visited Knoxville this past weekend.
