Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

I am a dick. I can enjoy awfully horrible jokes and bad things. I have also seen too much for my age. I have been threatened with guns and everything else. It doesn't phase me.

I have just listened to Kim Jones's appearance on the radio, and I am tearing up. This thing is bad. Every single person at Penn State did not do not only the right thing, but the only possible thing a man would do. Listen to everyone who talks of this, they are all on the bridge of crying. This is sick.

Yes. Poor janitor was so traumatized that he became paralyzed. He could not move to defend the kid, could not lift a telephone to call 911, could not walk into the AD's office to report it, could not speak to tell anyone about it...I sure hope he's OK now.

That was a report of a witness that saw Sandusky performing oral sex on a kid in 2000, and he had served in the Korean War.

The indictment describes abuse involving eight victims - young boys that Sandusky met through The Second Mile, which he established to assist boys from impoverished, single-parent households.

On several occasions, according to the indictment, witnesses had reported Sandusky having sexual contact with young boys, but the reports never concluded with charges being filed against the coach.

In one instance, the grand jury said, a janitor witnessed Sandusky sexually assaulting a boy in 2000 and told a co-worker that he "fought in the (Korean) war...seen people with their guts blowed out, arms dismembered...I just witnessed something in there I'll never forget."

The co-worker provided the testimony. The janitor is suffering from dementia and was not able to testify. The victim's identity, the grand jury reported, was never determined.

Cont'd ...

None of them should retain a pension, and all of them should get absolutely pounded in multiple civil actions.

I'm wondering if there's any way Penn State itself can be held civilly liable for damages to all those kids who were victims after the first disclosure. Anyone know how the lawsuits that cost the Catholic church a dime or two were structured? It wasn't the priests & bishops who were sued, was it? It was the church itself? You'd think a college would have less protection than a church, in terms of being held liable for its employees/agents' actions.

Hello, lawyers...any opinions?

If I'm a father involved in this case.........

Prison wouldn't scare me.

I used to find these comments silly. No offense.

Now I have two boys, my girlfriend's. I completely understand. I would kill for them. And they aren't even "mine."

I want to intellectually say that there are better ways. But damn if I can believe that if a father has a son go through this. That guy is going to kill himself, and he should.

Okay, now, this is gonna sound even more morbid...

If ousted at Penn State - how long will it be before we're hearing about the passing of Joe Pa?

See post 257.

More convincing if on a PSU Letterhead.

Worthy of a GPA for effort, though.

It's actually taken directly from a 'Nit blog. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was an actual note tacked up on the doors.
