Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

I'm sorry, but it would take me 40+ pages to go over all the tell-tail signs that expose this case for what it REALLY IS - an engineered political assassination, targeted at Penn State FOOTBALL and its "icon" coach - Joe Paterno.

Yep, they forced kids into the showers with a suspected pedophile a decade before JoePoop got his 409th win because they had the foresight of what this could do to his precious legacy. By the way, it's "tell-tale", not "tell-tail", dipshit...

The interview on Rock Center a couple of nights ago was a good one.

msbnc.video

Kate Snow interviewed Travis Weaver, who says he was abused by Sandusky from 1992 to 1996, a time when he was 10 to 14 years old.

Sandusky took Weaver to the 1995 Rose Bowl (PSU was undefeated and beat Oregon, finishing the season #2 to Nebraska).

At the time, Sandusky was the DC of a team playing for a possible National Championship. But he's alone in his hotel room with a 12 year old boy who's not related to him. That should have raised red flags way back then - and it shows that Sandusky has been doing this to boys long before the 1998 incident that was investigated without charges being filed.

Weaver told Sandusky to stop in 1996, when he was a 14 year old boy. Sandusky told him not to tell anyone, because nobody would believe a kid, and that Sandusky would get Weaver's father fired if the kid talked, since the kid's dad worked at PSU.

The motive? The state Attorney General was jealous because JoePa leant his support to a dance marathon to raise money for cancer research. It makes perfect sense! :tinfoil:

I'll say it again - the PSU football program should be shut down for several years - the Sandusky monster was able to operate and prey on kids for over 15 years because the insular nature of the community, its obsession with the football program, and the overriding concern of protecting JoePa's "legacy" and getting him to 409 wins outweighed any concern for the numerous victims of sexual abuse.

They allowed multiple abuses to continue for over a decade in their blind desire to "protect" the football program. The punishment for the University and the community in general should fit the crime, and in my opinion, depriving them of the football program would do exactly that.

If it weren't for the pro-cancer agenda in Harrisburg, JVP would still be alive today. Pray for the victims.

Sandusky was offending his entire adult life. There is no doubt in my mind about that. Amadickola was right about one thing, no one all of a sudden becomes a pedophile in their 50's...

Just as to the appeal issue, it wasn't the judge's job to decide whether to let the hearsay evidence in by balancing whether the prosecution already had enough other evidence to convict. The prosecution pushed for it's admissibility (which I think was technically correct, btw) and is stuck with the consequences. If they didn't really need it, they've created an appeal issue by using it. Judgment call that I hope doesn't burn them.

Additionally, though, the argument that the defense couldn't cross-examine the out of court declarant is only good as far as it goes. They are entitled to cross the witness reporting the declarant's out of court statement as to that statement to the same extent they would were the declarant a witness at trial. You don't have to take a hearsay declarant's statement as accurate/truthful/authentic just because it's admitted. I don't know whether or to what extent the defense examined the second janitor as to the competence of the first at the time of the statement but if they didn't, they'll be hard-pressed to complain that they didn't have any opportunity to attack the credibility of the statement.

Really, Corn? Really?

This nice guy schtick of yours has gone too fucking far when you're the only fanbase in America on the Ped Aggy boards wishing them well.

Not everyone has to like you. Stuart Smalley is not a life model.

He's just being proactive and trying to lessen the odds of being doused with bags of piss or having beer cans thrown at the back of his head by greek 'brothers' sometime in the future.
