Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

jlb1705;2170113; said:
Many Penn State scumbags seem to now be hanging their hats on the fact that Sandusky was acquitted on the most severe count relating to the act that McQueary testified to... as if the fact that he was convicted on all other counts related to that victim, and the fact that he was convicted of 45 of 48 counts overall somehow do not matter.

Which isn't really a surprise since MMQ never said with 100% conviction that he witnessed intercourse. He heard sounds and saw what he thinks was a suspect position, but what he suspects was going on and what he actually saw are two different things.

Given the evidence, I think the jury got it right.

And so it begins.

BWI taking the not guilty on one out of five charges relating to victim #2 as exoneration for Ped Aggy and JoePed.

Nice to see fans of multiple teams showing up to say that JoePed is rotting in hell.
I love when they get all wordy:

Joe enabled this behavior? And you know this how???? Adding 2 plus 2 and getting 5? PLEASE STOP THE RHETORIC

Did you know Joe Paterno? Have you ever worked with Joe Paterno? I can say yes to both of those questions and can say pretty damn adamnatly that Joe Paterno, the Paterno family, would have had no parts of this "enabling" crap you speak of.

Please stop with the anonymous internet assasination of a great man. ..... If anythinng comes out of the bowel twisting testimony of the past 2 weeks is that this was a criminal case of a sick man, not Penn State football and Joe Paterno.

Joe did as much as he legally could do. Times have changed in our world.. Joe didnt own the red bat phone we all think he did, especially in something as serious as a criminal matter such as this. Jerry Sanduskey was not an employee of Penn State nor was he under his management in 2001. All he could do was turn the matter over to the University authorities. Which he did and did promptly. Sanduskey was given permission and access to the facilities by the University, not Joe. That these administrators did nothing hits us all in the gut very hard, but to call Paterno an "enabler" because the AD, The Director of Campus Security and apparently the President of the University looked the other way is one mighty big stretch of the facts.

Joe turned the matter over to the University and its Director of Police. That these folks face criminal charges is all that needs to be said about how this was handled. Time will tell sooner than later that Penn State at layers much higher than the position of Head Football Coach knew and had the ability to stop this man and did nothing...

Listen to Phil Knights eulogy... Sums up the Paterno's role much better than I can.... In the mean time, be happy that justice was served this evening though do we step back and say the very law enforcement/Attorney generals office that put a governors campaign over justice that we applaud tonight were not the true "enablers" as they knew all of this for over a decade and did nothing?

Perhaps that spot burning in eternity should be saved for our Governor, who thought running for office was more important than pursuing this animal....

:shake:

They seem to be confusing "doing the minimum he was legally obligated to do" and "doing as much as he was allowed/able to do." The assertion that Paterno (or anybody else) did not have at least a moral obligation to simply dial 911 is next-level retarded.

Speaking of next-level retarded, gooner idiot Piers Morgan is back on so I'm changing the channel.

I believe in this case dialing 911 might have been the minimum legal obligation. Just like with any other crime or accident.... Your required by law to call 911.

Well I won the sodomy charge on McQueary.. so perhaps if the grand jury presentment had been accurate Paterno would not have been fired #psu

A little red meat for the locals from a man who manages to take part in TWO sleazy professions (defense attorney and AM radio host).

Jerry should say his goodbyes and end his life before he goes to prison. At his age it's a life sentence, and pedophiles are not generally welcomed into the big house. His last days will be harder if he tries to tough it out.

Bye bye, Jerry. You got away with it for far too long. It's time for justice.

For people hoping Jer gets his in prision, as you should be, I would just say don't count on it. SHU(prison protective custody so to spreak) is the norm for high profile inmates. Though Jeff Dahmer got his so I guess we can all hold out hope.

If they want to get you in the house, they will get you. Don't worry, he will be scared for his life in there.

He was shaking his head as he was taken to the transport vehicle, like he couldn't believe he was actually found guilty.

Rot in hell, Jerry. Have a warm beer with your enabler JoePed when you get there.

I could not engage in an in-person conversation on this topic with any of those inbreds without getting into a serious beat-the-fucker-until-he's-unconscious fist fight.

The most telling post over there was:

JoePa has the win record. Get over it.

Seriously, this is all those fucks care about...

Laws in force for Ohio teachers would require a phone call to 241-KIDS for any suspicion of abuse. Failure to comply could result in cause for firing and loss of certification. Further, it would be cause for legal action against the teacher.

It's much different at the college level because it is presumed that any situation involves someone past the age of consent, but that wasn't the case and wasn't what Joe was told. His inaction hardly brings honor to his reputation and rightfully leads to questioning his professional and personal ethics.
