Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

I don't see this as a time to attack Penn State or their fans in general. They aren't accused of molesting boys.

Nobody is accusing PSU fans of being molesters. buxfan4life pointed out an overly-naive fan's belief that victims made up the accusations...

Didn't mean to imply that's what he was doing. It was a general statement.

This is a sad story. I really hope JoPa didn't know anything about this.

Joe Pa doesn't know what year it is.

I'd say he's safe on this one.

It's ALWAYS time to attack Penn State fans. Most arrogant (and many times, ignorant) fans in college football, IMO. I have loads of respect for Joe Pa, and often root for HIM to do well, but I love to see the agony on those cocky a-hole fans faces when his Nits suck the pole. And I'm predicting that this weekend's bye week is going to be the last remaining highlight of their season. Hopefully, Joe Pa retires after this year so I can get on with hating everything having to do with that piss ant school.

Oh yeah, and I hope Sandusky rots in the prison cell that he's rightfully got coming to him. Sick bastard.

I know....I mean how silly is that. That would be like a tOSU fan thinking that JT stayed silent fan out the tattoos because he was worried about FBI investigations...

I was not aware that PSU's AD Tim Curley was charged with perjury along with another PSU admin.

EDIT

Attorney General Linda Kelly says Curley and Schultz perjured themselves by repeatedly denying, during the grand jury investigation, that they were told about an incident in 2002 that was reported by a graduate football assistant who walked on Sandusky taking a shower with a young boy.

Kelly said, "rather than reporting the matter to law enforcement, Curley and Schultz agreed that Sandusky would be told he could not bring any Second Mile children into the football building. That message was also reportedly related to Dr. John Raykovitz at the Second Mile (Past Executive Director and Executive Vice-President and currently the President and CEO of the Second Mile)," the statement says."

Despite that ban, which was reviewed by Penn State President Graham Spanier, there was no change in Sandusky's status with the school, no changes to his access to campus, and no charges were brought.

It's a good thing the PSU folks weren't ragging nonstop on Clarett, etc.

I found this interesting

"Closely identified with the school's reputation as a defensive powerhouse and a program that produced top-quality linebackers, Sandusky retired in 1999. Longtime head coach Joe Paterno, who has more victories than any coach in the history of Division I football, was not charged, authorities said. When Paterno first learned of one report of abuse he immediately reported it to Curley, prosecutors said."

I wonder when Joe first found out.

And then when Curley did nothing JoePa didn't go to the President or the police? Is that the takeaway here?

Once it became clear that Paterno and Curley knew.... hell yes it is a good time to be spiteful to those a-holes. You know, Paterno runs the cleanest program around yet doesn't tell the police about molestation and his teams are renowned for committing assaults.

F those self-righteous a-holes.

Actually according to the article, the President was made aware of the 2002 incident. The timing of everything is also highly suspicious, he retired in 1999 after being caught investigated for another event in 1998. I would not be shocked if Joe Pa probably did know something was going on but wanted to protect the university.
