Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

Matt Sandusky, through his attorney Andrew Shubin, said that he met with prosecutors this week to say for the first time that he is a molestation victim of Jerry Sandusky, his adopted father. Matt, 33, was adopted by Jerry and Dottie Sandusky as an adult, after going to live with the family as a foster child. He has denied ever being abused by his adopted father until now.

In March, The Patriot-News reported that Matt had a rocky relationship with his adopted father.
adoptive.

Not necessarily. If for some ungodly reason Sandusky is found not guilty, they can always file charges on him for the molestation of Matt. This may turn out to be a good thing if those dumb asses in Happy Valley are as retarded as many think.

I don't think an acquittal is a possibility. The real possibility is a hung jury. All it takes is just one fucktard who believes that not convicting Sandusky restores JoePed's good name to dig his heels in, cross his arms and say, "we're not going anywhere."

I think the ultimate aim for most people in Slappy Valley is to restore JoePed's legacy, protect the football program and protect the university in that order. I think some see the best means to that end as being a quick conviction of JS so that they can say, it was all him and we dealt with it. I think another significant group sees this all going away if JS is acquitted or at least not convicted via hung jury. Then, JoePed was right to not rush to judgement and call in a witch hunt. The university was right to keep this internal.

All it takes is one of those on the jury with a little resolve and a lot of time on his hands. If the jury doesn't come back quick, that's my hunch what is happening behind closed doors, not any quibbling about the facts of the trial which seemed about as open and shut as could be imagined.

My experience with jurors, although not in Slappy Valley, has been (even in bumfcuk middle/south Georgia) that they take what they're doing very seriously and really want to get it right. I've had several ask after cases whether they got it right with their verdict in light of evidence that they knew was out there but for whatever reason they didn't get to see.

As fcuked up as State Penn is, I'm not jaded enough to assume that this group will be enormously different from most other juries (OJ case, notwithstanding).

All that said, it will take a while to legitimately go through 48 or so counts. They will at least do that and, as such, it will take some time for them to come back with even the right answer. Yes, they could just immediately say that he's guilty but they won't do that. Just because deliberations may last into next week doesn't mean that the jury will hang or that they won't convict.

I don't understand the "Helped keep Sandusky silent" line.....as if the prosecution's goal was to prevent him from testifying. Getting that asshole on the stand would've made their case for them.

I would be concerned that letting him address the jury humanizes him. If he can elicit sympathy from even one person he has a chance at a hung jury.

Probably mentioned earlier, but if there is any positive in this horrible scandal it's that OOC fanbases get a first hand glimpse at Penn State fans and their 100% irrational behavior.

I don't like to compare scandals, but I can compare fan reactions.

In 2010, UGA's AD got a DUI and was with a woman who had her panties on the floor of his sports car. He was fired within a week and the alumni/subway alumni supported the move 100% (with many crying to withold his compensation).

Can't Penn State fans just do the right thing and distance themself from him? Is it that hard to turn your back on scandal?

It takes mental acuity and personal responsibility and honesty to be able to do the things you say.

That is NOT in the gene pool at Ped State, nor is it in the everyday life of the vast majority of the subhuman monsters that inhabit central Pennsylshitholia at large.

There are exceptions, but they are exceptions to the rule.

it took him 20 seconds to say the word "no" when asked if he was sexually attracted to little boys. I think the ol' ask him 2 or 3 random questions then surprise him with "did you rape these boys?" would fool him in to saying "yes".

Well any decent lawyer would prepare his client for that tactic, but Sandusky's lawyer doesn't seem to prepare well so tht could have tripped him up
