PSU looks extremely bad if JS is found guilty on all charges and it looks like a community coverup if he is found innocent of all charges. I think that the best outcome for PSU is if JS is found guilty of some charges, but not the most horrific charges (anal rape).
If there is no conviction related to MM's testimony, the PSU administration looks "slightly" less irresponsible for failing to report. I wouldn't be surprised with that outcome since MM didn't see penetration, the victim didn't act distressed, and the victim didn't file a complaint.

BigWoof31;2169263; said:Probably mentioned earlier, but if there is any positive in this horrible scandal it's that OOC fanbases get a first hand glimpse at Penn State fans and their 100% irrational behavior.
I don't like to compare scandals, but I can compare fan reactions.
In 2010, UGA's AD got a DUI and was with a woman who had her panties on the floor of his sports car. He was fired within a week and the alumni/subway alumni supported the move 100% (with many crying to withold his compensation).

BELLEFONTE, Pa. ? Jerry Sandusky decided not to testify in his child sex abuse trial after his lawyers were warned that prosecutors would call a surprise new witness ? one of the defendant?s own adopted sons ? who was prepared to deliver damaging testimony about his father, sources tell NBC News.
Matt Sandusky, one of six adopted children of Jerry and Dottie Sandusky, was observed by NBC News entering the courthouse, accompanied by Pennsylvania state troopers, on Wednesday morning as the defense was preparing to wrap up its case? and apparently still wrestling with whether Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State defensive coordinator, would take the stand.

Sounds like he had a change of heart after hearing testimony he knew wasn't true or something similar. Probably refused to testify originally.

Bucklion;2169307; said:Or maybe his testimony would only be relevant to refute specific testimony that Sandusky would have made...i.e., he didn't know what actually went on in the basement, but he would be able to refute details he tried to provide that would make it sound like innocent activity or non-secretive...or something like that.
