Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

how can "I had a shitty defense team" be grounds for any appeal? why not just hire shitty lawyers every time you're charged with anything and just appeal each time?

Inadequate defense (the lawyers here will know what it's officially called) has been used 100s of times for appeals...it is in fact a regular on the death penalty appeals circuit to try and get the sentence commuted. Most of the time those are public defenders in question, mind you, so I don't know how that applies or can't to people a defendant hires himself.

Still lookin' for the real killers. Heh heh heh...

I yelled at the tv yesterday morning as CNN was interviewing Marcia Fcuking Clarke about this case. How in the fcuk can you have that incompetent arsebag as an expert? She LOST the fcuking OJ case. She's monumentally incompetent. Please, Dear Lawd, let these guys be halfway competent.

The main reason I brought that up is the whole "he wanted to testify but was overruled by his attorneys". That smells a bit fishy to be that public about it, I wonder if they are setting the groundwork for appeal by making such things known.

Just remember that it only takes one of these clowns to believe that an acquittal or hung jury washes St. JoePed clean and justifies his (in)actions. It's only going to take one of them to fold his arms across his chest, and say to himself, "I'm doing this for Joe."

While any delay in the jury coming back might be haggling over some of the lesser counts, I'm inclined to believe that it will be more a case of one or two (or five) angry men who won't budge on a conviction.

Surely the judge is going to see these reports of Amendola & Clowns 'overruling' Jer's desire to testify right? Considering that PA law says the defendant has to waive this right, though not in open court, he'll make damn sure Sandusky clearly waives it before letting them go forward with closing arguments tomorrow...right?! The last thing I want to see is any grounds for appeal available to this sorry fuck.
