Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

I just can't understand how you keep McQueary, Bradley, or any of them. Shut it down and forfeit the season. I mentioned it on Monday: Tom Bradley had to have known too, or at least had suspicions, heard innuendo ... something.

These people just don't get it. They're still more concerned about who will coach and what rally they should hold at a football game.

Paterno & Spanier had to go immediately because they are the heads of the snake and as such are ultimately responsible.

The rest of the nest still needs to be cleaned out but it can be done more leisurely.

Presser on right now.

Tom Bradley stated that McQuery will be coaching at the game. It's a gametime decision on if he'll be in the box or on the sideline.

I'm not saying I agree with it. But that is probably what the BOT was thinking.
I believe the BOT knows that they will clean house at the end of the year. Firing all of the coaches and not finishing the season is not a realistic option.

As for McQueary, he will get what is coming to him. Good luck finding another job coaching or in any other profession. Can you imagine that job interview? Not to mention the potential legal trouble coming to him from the FBI and Department of Education.

Just to clarify my own stance on this; this is true for any of the five "men." Not just Joe Pa. Anybody should've/could've came forward at any point in the last nine years, but they didn't.

Also to be clear, to me at least, PSU looks like hypocrites by firing Joe Pa and allowing McQuery to coach another game. If anything, McQuery is more at fault than Joe Pa and should've been fired first. Joe Pa arguably should've been the last to go after Schultz, Curley, Spanier, and McQuery.

Agree except Joe Pa being last to go. They should all go at the same time. Why is there a timetable for who goes when? They all had the same knowledge of the situation so theyre all on the same level.

That's why PSU are hyprocrites

Funny how these idiots are now rallying around Paterno after the disgusting news that came to light recently from State College. Oddly enough, many of these same idiots were calling for his head last year and the year before and.... Screw them all.

Honestly, given the increasing indications that many within the program knew of Sandusky's proclivities, the honorable thing for Penn State would be to cancel the remainder of their football season and dismiss the entire staff.

I'll keep an eye out for him to go from questionable to probable before Saturday. I follow Schefter on Twitter.

Seriously, how is this even an issue? He should have been axed with the rest of them.

I argued with BB73 a little bit yesterday about whether it was necessary to read the presentment in order to have a clear idea of this case. He was right, reading the presentment makes it clearer.

One conclusion that seems almost unavoidable from the grand jury report, is that everyone involved in the PSU football program for the past 15 years at least - coaches, assistants, trainers, players, everyone - had to have been suspicious of Sandusky. I know several have professed themselves "shocked" by this, and maybe they are, but I don't see how it's possible, given the way he apparently behaved in public for years. People at the flippin' high school he volunteered at were suspicious before any accusations were made - how could no one at Penn State have been?

From what Mark Madden said yesterday and today - people in the coaching community were suspicious of the guy for years.

Part of me agrees. But how's that fair to the kids on the team now that have done nothing wrong? Depriving them out of 4 games (the last four for the Seniors) doesn't seem right. This weekend's game, maybe, but can't see all four (including Bowl game, obviously).

Also, how the [censored] does Mike McQueary remain employed? I'd LOVE to hear the rationale behind that...
