Spoiler Alert:

Vacation Murderer it looks like (& hotel, killer took wallet etc), but of course it could be Anton making it look like V.M. but that really wouldn't fit with a "crime of passion".

Nah, because we are going to have to deal with Deb being whiney and Anton trying to help her causing the emotional ties and the love stories that seem to plague this season.

The last murder is supposed to symbolize his dad and his dad probably abused him. Just my 2 cents. I'm not sure if all they gay remarks were what his dad said to him or just something he used to get someone to kick the [censored] out of him.

Yeah, I definitely think it was a role-playing type of thing intended to simulate abuse earlier in his life.

I thought it was implied to be the Trinity killer. While he grabbed Lundy's wallet he didn't touch Deb's purse.

Also, why the hell did Trinity get his ass kicked on purpose?

I thought the same thing. The Trinity recognized him in the square, ran in to him to get a good look at his face, possibly pick his pocket, and Lundy is the only one actually shot more than once. Deb is collateral damage, IMHO. Good point also, that if it was robbery, Deb's purse is untouched.

I agree, the situation had to be CREATED for him to be able to fulfill his "ritual" in that particular kill. To enrage himself enough to make it satisfying sort of thing. Not that he needs to be enraged to kill but it seems as though the rage is a required part of the scene for that piece of his triple ritual.

I think the things he said were just tailored to that particular person, to set them off enough to kick Trin's ass for him. I don't think he needs to psych himself into identifying his victim that closely with his abusive father, there isn't enough evidence yet that he was abused in any way. Good theory though and it could be true considering he did need to induce rage to make sure all the components of his fantasy/ritual were in place.

Lame. Of course the artist is guilty. You can't take away a character's entire "raison d'etre" in the middle of a season. How naive do they think we really are?

Something is seriously wrong with Trinity. New cycle sooner than expected?

Eh, been kind of up and down. The Laguerta-Angel storyline was a horrible idea. Lithgow hasn't been as good as I'd thought he'd be as the Trinity killer. Rita's a nuisance. Quinn's not a real interesting character and the guy playing him isn't a convincing actor. Still enjoyable but season 1 shits on the other 3 seasons.

WOW!!!!! This season has been amazing and is only going to get more interesting. The previews for next week look awesome... some great twists coming down the pike!

Anyone else following along?

For sure. This and Californication are the only two shows I watch on TV anymore.

**SPOILER**

How crazy is all of this going to fit together with the reporter/daughter thing? Does that mean that Trinity knows who Dexter is?

This was awesome last night... it's all coming together now. As was the case last night, they will end in a flurry of action over the last two episodes. Interesting that Lundy had it partially wrong.
