I only read the first book. By the time I got around to reading the rest, the series had already been out for awhile and my used book store was always sold out. I hate that. Read a damn book because it's interesting or has a good premise or is written by a favorite author, don't read a damn book cuz a movie was made out of it or fat, rich, African American woman that couldn't give a damn about it you says it good. What the fuck does she know anyway?!

/end rant

sorry.........used to work in a book store and HATED the day the new "Oprah's recommend" book came out.

"Um, I want a book. the cover is blue. And has a bird on it? Oprah recommened it."

*grab nearest hardback art book and beat the crap out of the idiot in front of me*

Dexter has been the best show so far this season. I love(d) the Miguel Prado character.

A nicely done "descent into madness" kind of character with a deserved come-uppance ending. I am sort of tired of the whiney, pregnant, oh so earth-mothery character his girlfriend has turned into. Snoopy and clingy all of a sudden when she wasn't like that the last season at all.

Michael C. Hall marries his "Dexter" sister
Fri Jan 9, 2009 7:27pm EST

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall has married co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister on the television show, the actor's representative said on Friday.

They wed on New Year's Eve in picturesque Big Sur, California, and she had a wedding ring linked to a bouquet, Hall's representative Craig Bankey said in a statement.

The ring was passed down from Carpenter's grandfather.

In "Dexter," Hall plays Dexter Morgan, a Miami police analyst who moonlights as a serial killer targeting sociopaths. Carpenter plays Debra Morgan, Dexter's adoptive sister, a tomboyish cop. "Dexter" is on U.S. cable channel Showtime.

Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, dated for a year and-a-half before being married, Bankey said.

I don't think she is attractive. That weird thing she has with her mouth I guess. I wonder how strange that relationship will be if they keep playing brother and sister.
