Actually, this seems to be the best way to utilize hairlice. I will be interested to see how his durability handles this new role. Once he gets hit at full speed, the OW may refer to what hairlice keeps saying while hiding on the sidelines.

Hiding on the sidelines? Would they need a CCW for that, then?

For all the great things Denard did in a scUM uniform, how many of his mistakes, stupid TO's and the fact he could not stay on the field b/c he was hurt every 5 plays cost them games?

You can make an argument that he lost as many games as he won for scUM. I can't say the same for Pryor. He single-handedly won quite a few but struggling to come up w/ more than 2 he lost. The Purdue and PSU games come to mind. Can't think of anymore that I would clearly pin on him and his mistakes.
I can't really put the Penn State game on him. He fumbled trying to come up with the game winning play. Sucks that it happened and I guess he could have just tucked it after the first down, but it's not like it was a ball thrown right to Manti Teo 60 times in 1 game or anything.

I dunno.....I could see the other side of it, also.

Oh it could end very well...

Hopefully this shit goes no further than Sept 2nd against the Seahawks. They have a player now that I'd just love to see lay him out.(any guesses?)

If not he might die on Oct 27th if they try and send him through the middle, or anywhere else for that matter against the Niners.

The Browns get the Jags in December, but who would want to bet money on him being healthy that late in the season?

As I read the comments from several of you stating that Denard built his stats and his rep on the UMass teams of this world. I thought that perhaps there was something to that line of thinking. So I went to:
http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/denard-robinson-1/gamelog/

And came away thinking that what I saw was a pretty consistent performance regardless of opponents along with the good day/bad day events that every player experiences. Perhaps the best example is to take his stats from the year most of you are pointing to, 2010, when UMass was on the Michigan schedule:

As I look at the stats (sorry they don't line up with their headings) it says to me that he padded his record against Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Ohio State and Mississipi State as well as other teams on the schedule.

As you look at the rest I think it reveals that Ohio State's defense played him better than most other teams - something to take pride in- and that teams that had time to prepare- bowl games and Alabama - found a way to limit either his running or his passing.

So the 291 yards passing and 105 yards on the ground he got last year against a team from somewhere in Taxachusetts wasn't really on the schedule?

.

Right.

Because the 192 total yards of offense against OSU that year was almost like the 383 yards against UConn.

Here are some other fun numbers .....Detards career rushing average = 6.2 ypc (lets not even pretend he was a real QB and ignore the arm punting numbers for now)

By month
September: 7.6
October: 6.2
Nov: 5.1
January: 3.7

vs Conference
vs MWC 10.2
vs MAC: 9.7
vs Non DI: 6.9
vs BE: 6.8
vs IND (read ND): 6.4
vs B1G: 5.6
vs SEC: 4.2

Hopefully you didn't waste much time or effort on that Cinci. I don't think anybody cares. Not when the poster above you is trying to figure out which game he's going to die in

It's not like I wish him serious harm or anything. I just don't see the point of implementing new rules for player safety, and then allowing a guy who taps out at the college level so frequently a chance to play in the NFL The dude is nothing more than a gimmick IMO. I find it hysterical that the Jags had to make up a position name for him. It's even funnier when it's defined.

ow (ou)
interj.
Used especially in response to sudden pain.

Patrick Willis can certainly deliver the Ow to Denard, as can many defensive players in the NFL.
