Denard is a very exciting player to watch in college football, but he is not a QB or RB. He is a "QB" that always runs first and looks to pass in need-only situations. The reason he can get the yards he does on the ground is because he is playing the QB position...so he can sit in the pocket and let everything develop then take off and get 8-9 yards every time. As we've seen the last couple years, to stop Michigan all you have to do is stop him....which isn't hard for a good defense. If Denard can't do anything, then Michigan loses big time. Sure his name pops up every Sept for the Heisman, but he just falls off the lists by the end of October.
He is neither a QB or RB at the next level. The best position for him would be kick returns. I would say WR as well, but i think he'd get to "injured" playing that as well.
