Not much I can add that hasn't already been said but I was stunned and saddened when I heard the news.

I am always comforted by the knowledge the departed are better off for it but always, selfishly, miss a friend.

Condolences to her family and all her BP family as well. I know this hurts a lot of good people here (I'm sure it hurts Fungo and Thump too but now is not the time to quibble).

Wow ... I am gutted.

Sharon was kind and compassionate, funny and engaging, intelligent yet approachable and charming, and most of all caring for the "strangers" she met on BuckeyePlanet. Quite remarkable considering she could have been anything other ...

I always appreciated our interactions and was considerably impressed with how smoothy she did the same with others. I will miss her greatly and am sure that sentiment runs deep on this forum. She certainly made this little corner of the internet a much better place. Thanks Deety for always being the "light" shining the way.

“Life is a narrow vale between the cold and barren peaks of two eternities. We strive in vain to look beyond the heights. We cry aloud—and the only answer is the echo of our wailing cry. From the voiceless lips of the unreplying dead there comes no word. But in the night of Death Hope sees a star and listening Love can hear the rustling of a wing.”

Most of what I would have said as already been said in prior posts. Deety/Sharon was one of the kindest people that I knew. She helped me get to know BP and how to get around it. I really do not know what to say because she will be missed by anyone who ever knew her. She was so kind. It almost makes me cry just thinking about our relationship over the years. You will be missed Deety/Sharon and may the Lord comfort your family at this very sad time.

Surreal.

One of my very first PM's on this site was from Deety, informing me that @BB73 had forwarded me some vbucks for a misplaced bet. She was super cool about it.
Dated 9/2007 :sad::sad::sad:

IIRC she was the one that initially hijacked and created, what would become at least, the LOLcats to New Orleans thread? Great days. My God, where has the time gone? RIP classy lady.
