She contributed such a great deal to BP. Her time, her talents, her compassion, her generosity, her sense of humor, her perspective. For long periods of time, Deety was a large part of the spirit of BP, and at times its conscience.

I’ve met several of you in real life; she was one of the people I most wished to have met but never did, and now I’m terribly saddened by that.

Just terrible news. I immediately thought that several fur babies lost the best mom ever. She was part of the DNA of BP, and what made this such a great place to visit. Rest in Peace. My condolences to her family.
