Shut up. The morally right thing to do is the only thing to do. To do otherwise is wrong, clearly.

Every time he tell us to pray for the victims I wonder what his concerns were about the victims were back on 1998 when he knew his friend was a molesting young boys, at that time victim 6. He wasn't too concerned about any possible victims 7, 8, 9....

From the court documents, it sounds like Mcquery never told JoePa what happened, only that he saw something very disturbing. Joe reported that. The administration's responsibility was to investigate and they did. They had all of the facts. They swept it under the rug. Not Joe Pa. They deserve everything coming towards them.

There's no reason for anyone to stop talking about the victims. Their pain and suffering need to be the focus for everyone IMO.Buckeyefrankmp;2032188; said:He really needs to stop talking about the victims.

Paterno acknowledged McQueary told him of ?an incident in the shower of our locker room? involving Sandusky and that he believed McQueary clearly ?saw something inappropriate involving Mr. Sandusky.?
Who do you believe??It was obvious that the witness was distraught over what he saw, but he at no time related to me the very specific actions contained in the Grand Jury report. Regardless, it was clear that the witness saw something inappropriate involving Mr. Sandusky. As Coach Sandusky was retired from our coaching staff at that time, I referred the matter to university administrators.

Sorry, but although his failure to do the right thing in the past is deplorable (yes, I've been persuaded he knew enough that he should have gone to the police, since the sniveling little McQueary shit did not), he hasn't lost his right to remind people of the victims' suffering. Nor has anyone.Buckeyefrankmp;2032220; said:JoePa needs to stop talking about the victims.
That'd be all good and stuff, but when he says "The victims or whatever they want to say", it doesn't come across as real sympathetic.MaxBuck;2032223; said:Sorry, but although his failure to do the right thing in the past is deplorable (yes, I've been persuaded he knew enough that he should have gone to the police, since the sniveling little McQueary shit did not), he hasn't lost his right to remind people of the victims' suffering. We all need IMO to focus our attention on how to prevent future abuse and how best to support victims of abuse, since Paterno is now history. Throwing more dung on the heap does no good whatever.
