PSU fans should look on the bright side. The discussion of 5 year bowl bans, scholly reductions and vacated wins has totally taken their minds off the fact that JoePa's statue was taken down.

I think the timing here may be evidence of how closely PSU and the NCAA are working. If PSU takes down the statue after the leak about sanctions it looks like a response. By doing it first it appears independent and the sanctions leak does in fact divert attention.

And yes, I know the leak came from CBS. But it is not unheard of for the "leaker" to also provide timing constraints relative to the leaked info.

Then again, maybe I have been reading too many PSU conspiracy theories.

Very good observation.

Sadly, I think he will stay until he will stay until either he becomes very sick or he passes away. I just don't see him leaving on his own means.

I was going back through this thread from back when it started.

Tedginn05 got it right back in December of 2005.

Pedterno did NOT leave on his own terms and when he was fired he was allegedly very sick with cancer. Interesting.

Help them, tg05, you're their only hope.
