He had a late climb so that probably effected things and invites. So, Sam is listed as a 5star on scout, yet wasn't voted to ANY national all star game!!! Not even the semper fi or offense-defense! And then on top of that, rivals has him at 29 for their Ohio post season rankings! I don't know whether to laugh or be appalled. These kid is easily top 15-20 at least in state

I know that he gave up lacrosse for his senior year to get in better football shape. Not sure if it makes a ton of sense to do that and then still try to play lacrosse at the collegiate level.Sam came up in two different conversations that I had during the holiday season... All lacrosse related, of course...
That said, a college kid who is friends with Sam from the LAX tourney circuit and I were talking about Sam switching from the Domers to us. He has no inside info, but said that knowing Sam he may try to play LAX as well. I can't say how pleased I'd be if that were to happen.

Agreed. The LB haul this year was nasty. Isn't the Stanford LB who is graduating this year pretty tall as well? I know Shaw was quoted as saying he's one player who will be sorely missed.I've already stated how ridiculously excited I am to have Sam in this class. But after reading the posts in the best OSU LBs thread, I wonder if Hubbard is a modern day Randy Gradishar? Not saying he has reached that, just his game-style (6'5ish LB with tons of athleticism and range, oversized for his time). In specific, want to call @WoodyWorshiper @NFBuck
