I actually think our ends were instructed to contain while the DTs rushed because I remember seeing Bosa on several plays have a very slow getoff after the snap. Chase got a lot of good pressure when we rushed 3 and dropped 8 at the end of the game, so I'm leaning more towards play design. It also makes sense with a running QB.
