While 7-on-7 is very limited in terms of contact, the group of safeties on the South Florida Express have made names for themselves as physical head-hunters in the secondary. Jeremy Cash (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Plantation) is the headliner, but the talent runs deep.

Jeremy Cash: Cash is confident, brash and physical. That, along with his 6-foot, 185-pound frame, makes him one of the top defensive prospects in South Florida. Cash has offers from Nebraska, Louisville, Miami, Ohio State, Florida State and North Carolina, with the Hurricanes and Buckeyes on top.

Scout $ - 2011 Prospect: Plantation S
Mike Bakas of SuperPrep.com, Mar 7, 2010

Cash doesn't list a top 5 & his childhood favorite was Miami-FL... A stable coaching staff & their history of developing players will be his top factors... Thanks to his natural abilities & his fantastic academic profile, Cash can just about have his pick of schools...

Rivals $ - Stunning end at the Badger 7-on-7
Michael Langston of FlaVarsity.com, March 14, 2010

Characterized as one of, if not the, most versatile players that participated... He has the size & strength to check TEs but he's also fast enough to cover most RBs & WRs... His length coupled with his great lateral mobility allows him to cover to the sideline & break up anything in his area code...

Cash won the Difference Maker MVP at the FBU camp this past weekend, I'll try to get some film up. Bit of a goofball, had to be told to take off his baseball cap a couple times, but is obviously looked up to by the other players. Right now, he's most interested in throwing his size around and putting hands on the receivers, obviously size is his best asset. Non-contact film doesn't tell much but maybe someone with more football knowledge can glean something.

Yeah, in that case I would take Ohio State over Miami which seem to be his two favorites.

Well of course you would, LOL! Pretty much all of us on this message board would too, but hopefully Mr. Cash feels the same. We heard the same stuff from Seantrel Henderson and his fam, about wanting to go somewhere to make him a better person and player, and we all see where he ended up. There's a lot of time to go before Cash's recruitment is over
