REPORTER: What about Christian Bryant?
COACH TRESSEL: He was back there practicing a hundred percent. He was scrimmaging. He's back. Back a little quicker than I thought he might have been. So his Twitter might have been right that I missed.
Bryant on the run
The Buckeyes' depth in the defensive backfield was strengthened with the return of nickel back Christian Bryant in bowl practices. The freshman had been on the mend after undergoing foot surgery in October to stem an infection that caused him to miss the last five games.
"He did a lot of practice reps and things like that. He's looking back to being himself," safety Jermale Hines said. "It feels great knowing that you have a little more depth if somebody was to go down or things like that. Everybody is mainly back up to full speed."
