Don't sleep on Riep who is also a beast in his own right. He's the best DB in Ohio and had a bunch of offers. This DB class would be insane if we landed Holmes(AND Sheffield)Best secondary recruiting class in history?
High school talent and potential wise of course but that would be the #1, #2 and #4 or something Corners and the #4 guy is the national defensive player of the year. Thats ludicrous.
Come on in Darnay, we're heading for Plaid.
Edit: that was #4 in Shaun Wade not #5. Then there's Williamson who is also a stud and Prior at Safety. I can't stop laughing
See what I mean? Not disrespecting Riep its just too ridiculous to even remember them all at this point without looking at the commits list. I seriously want the question to be posed to recruiting experts who've done this for 20 or 30 years to compare this to the others.Don't sleep on Riep who is also a beast in his own right. Yeah, I didn't think you were disrespecting him, just an oversight. And that does show just how talented this class is at DB. And the thing is, the CBs coming in, a few may transition to S, just not sure who yet. But all could play that at a high level as wellSee what I mean? I agree. Spending a lot of time with Okudah, Browning and to a lesser extent Martell. If we go by the adage.. watch what they do.. tough to dismiss the comfort that appears when he's around Okudah and Browning
Wiltfong just mentioned this to Bucknuts apparently... so the cliff jumpers are out in full forceWhile that may be true, one of Bill Greene's tenets of recruiting is that if the player arrived at an all-star game planning to attend School A, he will announce for School A. The rest is just noise to create suspense. Having said that I saw the interview on the Nebraska 247 site with Holmes' father where he indicated Darnay may favor School A, his mom favors School B and his dad favors School C. Nebraska insiders feel like they are #2 on everyone's list as School D and thus they may have a chance. So I think there is still some work to be done here by the Holmes family to come to a consensus.
I guess we'll just have to settle for seven 5 star commits instead of eightWiltfong just mentioned this to Bucknuts apparently... so the cliff jumpers are out in full force

Talk about the epitome of first world problems.
