Here comes the NJ Covid fiasco.. and how our gov was as useless as Cuomo except he didn't doctor data.. that we know of
He issued same mandate that Covid+ had to go back to nursing homes
The head of aged facilities in NJ that refused to accept Covid+ patients were fired
The CEO of NJ VA mandated that PE (delivered to them by Florida Natl Guard) were locked in cabinets... and not issued to staff...
she was quoted "I didn't want to scare patients"
NJ VA hospitals refused to even pick up family calls

Note - In NJ, 1 out of every 9 aged facility residents died March-May

I am 51 and married for over half my life to the same awesome woman...my after work hookup consists of me stopping at a store and sneaking a little debbie snack cake on the way home so she doesn’t scold me for being a cheating diabetic
So... wait.. when you say you are sneaking a little debbie snack cake that's a euphemism for fucking someone named debbie? You cheating diabetic.

Ba-dum-cha

Thank you, thank you... I'll be here all week.

My 51 year old nephew has Covid now and I'm worried because he's overweight and not in great health. His wife is a ER nurse so I know he'll get great care but it's concerning because he's like our son and we have a close relationship to him. He's seeing his doctor today so we suggested he ask about monoclonal antibodies infusion to get him headed to healing.

What The Pandemic is Doing to Our Brains

“We’re all walking around with some mild cognitive impairment,” said Mike Yassa, a neuroscientist at UC Irvine. “Based on everything we know about the brain, two of the things that are really good for it are physical activity and novelty. A thing that’s very bad for it is chronic and perpetual stress.”

I got the Moderna vaccine on Wednesday. Didn't even feel the shot. My shoulder is slightly tender--I notice it if I directly push on it. The one side effect that I didn't expect is that it really elevated my heart for about 24 hours. I only know because I wear a fitbit, but the night after the shot, my heart rate only went below my resting rate 4% of the time while I slept versus a usual level of 70 to 90 percent of the time. On Thursday, just sitting at a desk or on the couch, my heart rate was in the 90s (fitbit has my resting rate usually around 64 or 65). Thursday evening everything went back to normal.
