I just assumed this was Duke's yearly decree to the NCAA that they wouldn't travel......meaning they wouldn't play any games outside of a 10 mile radius of campus like usual. The NCAA just mistook them for saying they weren't going to play bc of the virus.

We were talking about this in a dept head meeting today. Boss's kid is getting sent home from college. So they take a big gathering of kids at a germ factory...........and disseminate them back home all across the country, to stop the spreading of a virus?

The bigger concern right now is that elementary aged children are showing to be very asymptomatic with the coronavirus. They're not exhibiting symptoms yet they still carry and spread the virus for 14 days. They're like little angels of death to unwittingly send over to grandma and grandpas.

Fuck....we're planning on a surprise visit to my parents this weekend, with 4 year old in tow. Dad has heart problems, mom is in and out of hospitals routinely. Probably should stay home?

Oof. That would really suck for all those schools without A/C that have been closing for heat in August, September and even October the past couple years.
