Columbus Crew SC (2008, 2020, 2023 MLS Champions)

That game was fucking pathetic from the Crew's standpoint. They attacked for 75 of the 96 minutes (6 stoppage), and still lose 1-0. Playing Jahn the entire game proved Berhalter and co. had no desire trying to find a spark to win this game.

The constant lack of depth at striker on this team is disappointing. Always have a decent starter, then a HUGE drop off for the #2. This year's squad is no different.

If it’s in reference to the team possibly moving to Texas, I’m not buying it. Just a weak attempt at extorting Columbus out of money for a new stadium.
I'm with you. There is no stadium here for them to play at, UT will not let anyone touch their field. There's no space downtown, and UT needs a new basketball arena so. It's cute but likely is a bad bluff

I just can’t see MLS adding another team to Texas. Two is enough for that state.
Totally agree man. I hate this. Makes no sense, basically moving from one college town to another, but with an even bigger diluted market that hasn't proven great.

I only worry about MLS wanting Cinci about that same timeframe. Trade Columbus for Cinci? Not a good look for everyone involved. Owner has never seemed interested in the city and you announce this right before playoffs? It's a sabotage or a bluff.

Will let you guys know the second I hear anything.

Tejas can handle 3 MLS teams but the 3rd would be in San Antonio.
