Columbus Crew SC (2008, 2020, 2023 MLS Champions)

Same. Even though I'll probably end up getting season tickets anyways. Last year was supposed to be a rebuilding year, and they made the playoffs. Pretty impressive. Now they have another attacker to go after, while still having Heinemann and Renteria in the attack. Tony Tchani and Emmanual Ekpo will make up a solid DM. Duka and Gaven are already good AM. Adding another Center Back is ALWAYS good. Now having 3 quality players at the position is going to speak volumes next year.

I'm sure you guys get this feeling too, but it seems when foreign stars say they want to play in MLS, especially from Europe, what they're really saying is they want to play for LA or NY. "Small market" teams don't get the respect they deserve from the international crowd.

Columbus does have some real street cred in South America, however. This coaching staff seems to be down there a lot during the off-season scouting players. Some good recent finds were Emilio Renteria (Venezuela) and Sebastian Miranda (Chile). If they can pluck a younger version of former Crew MLS Cup winners Guillermo (Argentina), Gino (Argentina), and Moreno (Venezuela) from down there in the off-season, we'd have a starting 11 that could contend. Maybe we could find a new head coach from down there too...

And while I'm on the topic of South American players, I'm so glad Mendoza's history. No mas. That's like an early Christmas present. We can CERTAINLY use that salary wiser.

Ditto, homie. Pippo and Emilio... wow. How exciting would that attack be?

Just gotta find someone to get them the ball. Secretly hoping Dilly Duka has a breakout year this year and becomes that "field general" the staff's looking for.

Just not a fan of the Oregon State bra uni as their away kit... Why couldn't they just stretch the stripes to the bottom of the shirt and just get it over with.

We could take a page out of Celtic's book (I own this because of how sweet it looks):

Give me something like Milan's kit from last year, only with yellow where the red is:

These Celtic (my favorite non MLS club) kits are better than the one above:

I wish they kept Carling as the Sponsor :(

If I had to choose between Better V2 or the AC Milan kit. I'd take the AC kit. I hate collars like that.

Those are my two sites for MLS news... Unfortunately, coverage of the sport is shit. So you gotta make due.

I agree. I'm not a HUGE fan of collars. 1. Why do they have a chick showing off the new kit? 2. What the hell is the white one on the right? Looks like they took pieces from the old kits and sewed it all together. BARF

I'm one of the few that actually think that away kit is going to look good. Just gotta put a huge name on the club to make it look good.

I think we tried too hard to make a white alternate. If they had continued the black and gold top of the jersey down to the bottom, that would have looked really classy and slick.

Lots of talk and speculation out there about a new sponsor for our kits this year.

Good, for us to go without sponsership is sad. It should never happen to one of the original MLS squads.

The speculation is that its gonna be Simply Pure Milk. They did quite a bit of in stadium advertising with us last year. Wouldnt help Columbus's outsider image as a "cow town" if they became our kit sponsor. The company is simply speculation by fans, but the rumor is that we're gonna have a kit sponsor to start the year. With the wide open design in the center of our new alternate, its just begging for a sponsor.
