Couple things at work here. The Bruins had a deal for Gavrikov in place, and the Jackets were reportedly surprised when Boston decided to trade for Orlov from the Caps instead. So by the time they were able to find another deal, a lot of the other dmen on the market were traded. Also, there were a lot of goalies on the trade market too (some didn’t get moved). Not a lot of value for goalies right now.

Also, poor baby Jonathan Quick. You suck and make almost $6 mill. You’re not in a position to pick and choose where you play. But I’m glad the Jackets got something for his overpaid, old shitty ass. Can’t even suck it up for two months. lol

Michigan has another kid playing absurd hockey who is going to go high in the draft (Adam Fantilli). He put up 4 points against OSU tonight. This draft class is insane.

I've seen people say Michkov is the best Russian forward prospect they've ever seen, and he usually goes #3 on their mock draft. Wild shit. Great year to suck.

Tankathon (I guess that their mock draft is as good as any other) has Fantilli as #2 and Michkov as #4; some guy from Sweden named Leo Carlsson is #3. It will be interesting to see who the Jackets get with the King's 1st round pick (currently projected at #25).
