Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

Part of it was the CBJ were charged up and ready to go....part of it was Arizona might literally have one of the worst defensive corps I've ever seen in an NHL game.

The metro is stacked. I think the CBJ are more of a spoiler than a true contender but hell let it ride right now.

Well, the Blue Jackets are 2-0; however, it did take OT to bet the expansion team. The good news was that they scored 2 goals which qualified for the Jet Pizza 50% discount. I had their Hawaiian pizza for lunch.

The 2 wins were at home against the worst team in the NHL and the expansion team, Tuesday they hit the road traveling to Detroit.

5 really good things from the Jackets' season-opening wins
It's early, but there are some signs Columbus can keep it going

For the first time since the 2014-15 season, the Blue Jackets are 2-0.

So live it up fans, as this doesn't happen all that often (for the record, it's just the fifth time over 21 seasons in franchise history the team has hit the mark). It's hard to win games in the NHL, so to put two in a row on top of one another is a great place to be.

1. The power play is clicking
2. Patrik Laine looks like a different man
3. The goaltending has been cooking
4. They're having fun doing it
5. They've won in different ways

Just sayin': Everyone knows that the really "good thing" about being 2-0 is that you have a chance to go 3-0......
