Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

This is going to be a frantic finish. Stars last two games are Columbus & Detroit at home. They have to win both in regulation or they're out. Columbus & Detroit both get Nashville, who have nothing to play for at home in between. Tomorrow will go along way in telling how this will end with Detroit's game in hand being L.A. at home on a back-to-back after they lost at Minnesota tonight. These next two days will make everything a lot clearer for Saturday.

Gonna be tough if they don't make it. Looks like it's out of their hands at this point. Fantastic finish though. Great momentum to build on this offseason. And the Jackets will have Ryan Murray next year, and maybe Boone Jenner. Some of the younger guys on the team have really gotten comfortable with their roles, too. Johansen, Calvert and Atkinson are going to be in Columbus for a long time.

I am concerned about Johansen not being a #1.. looks to me like he'll be a good #2 though. But fuck, he's only 20.

What if Minnesota loses tonight and the Jackets win tomorrow night? Won't the CBJ overtake the Wild in the standings regardless of what the stinking Red Wings do?

Edit NM. I just checked and saw that Minny has 2 games left to get in and one of them is against the Avs. They are pretty much a shoo in at this point. Oh well, rooting like hell against the Wings.
