Never been to hockey game before, taking the VERY pregnant wife. seats are in section C8. so I was hoping you guys could answer some questions. A) Is there anything specific I need to know about parking or getting around. B) any general info I need or things I should avoid. C) are these seats any good? D) what is no touch icing and should I like it?
No touch icing only applies to the college game as Mike80 sort of indicated. In the college game when the puck crosses the opponents goal line from two lines out the whistle is automatically blown and the opponent does not have to touch the puck which is the case in professional hockey.Ok, just won tickets on the radio. If I were you, I'd drop her off at the front of the arena (by the nationwide building) or if you park by Huntington Stadium, drop her off by the box office down there. The parking is semi-close, but if she's really pregnant, you'll want to limit it a bit since you'll be walking a lot in the arena..
I can't really think of anything to avoid really, but you'll want to check where the cannon is so your wife is aware of it when it goes off.
no touch icing doesn't exist (Yet), so don't worry about it.
